Mozilla is complaining to the DoJ that if Google can’t give them money, they will die.
Unpopular opinion: pay your executives less and you’ll keep the lights on no problem! Only couple million dollars is necessary! Plenty more left for potential corruption too!
More unpopular: focus your software development spending on projects people and devs actually care about. At this rate, it’s just Firefox, the web components (NSS, Spidermonkey, etc), Bugzilla in case someone feels masochistic.
Even more unpopular: if Mozilla relies on its competition to keep it afloat so Google can claim they aren’t a monopoly, maybe the Mozilla Foundation deserves to die. Rip that Band-Aid off now and get it over with so us preppers can plan accordingly.
